1. Kings Park

Kings Park is one of the largest inner-city parks in the world. Famous for its beautiful picnic spots, it’s also home to unique Australian flora. Overlooking the city and the beautiful waters of the Swan River, it offers walking trails with stunning natural vistas.

The Western Australian Botanic Garden can also be found here. The garden features a wide range of unique plants from Western Australia and all around the world. Enjoy a free guided walk and explore the unique flora and fauna. You can also head to the Rio Tinto Naturescape Kings Park, designed to help children connect with the natural environment around them.

The AQWA features Australia’s largest underwater tunnel and is home to giant sharks, stingrays and turtles. You’ll even get a glimpse of some rare and unusual creatures, including the beautiful leafy seadragons.

With plenty of free daily talks, unique tours and feeds, AQWA is a must-visit for families looking to have some guaranteed fun. Special toddler-friendly events are regularly organised, and there are a range of additional activities that kids can enjoy on school holidays.

5. Museum of Perth
